Hearts and Hands is a not-for-profit organization that helps older or physically challenged adults maintain their independence and improve their quality of life by coordinating volunteers to provide them with needed services. These services include personal transportation to medical appointments or errands, companion visits/caregiver respite, wellness checks, and minor home repairs and maintenance. By fostering a neighbors-helping-neighbors philosophy, this assistance is provided by volunteers at no cost to the care receivers. By supporting the daily needs of vulnerable adults, Hearts and Hands enables care receivers to live in their home of choice for as long as possible.
