The mission of the South Carolina Aquarium is to encourage the preservation of the natural world by exhibiting and caring for animals, by exceeding expectations in training and research, and by offering an outstanding guest experience. The South Carolina Aquarium is a not-for-profit driven association with the majority of the Aquarium's funding coming from the generosity of their contributors, members, establishments, and business accomplices.
