The SMU Dance Marathon raises money and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, specifically Children's Health in Dallas. All the money raised goes directly to benefit the kids at our hospital and will fund many new treatments and equipment for children facing pediatric illness. Composed of and run only by students, we strive to be one of the largest entirely student-run organizations in the South and we do it all For The Kids. This is our first year for SMU Dance Marathon. The 12-hour event which will take place on the SMU campus will feature many performers, fun activities to engage the students and guests, food and most importantly, our hospital families that have benefited from the money donated from groups like our own at Children's Health in Dallas. Each family will tell a unique story that brings to light what we are working and raising money for. Our Dance Marathon event for the upcoming year will take place November 12, 2016 from 9AM to 9PM. We cannot wait to continue our growth as an organization and continue impacting the lives of children across the state of Texas.
