About
R.U.B.I.E.S. of America is a girls’ mentor program, for girls ages 6 to 15. Chapter meetings allow participants the ability to learn how to govern themselves accordingly, while developing leadership skills through the interaction with individuals older and younger than they are. Meetings will either meet in a large group setting or breakout into age-specific groups called Tribes for badge work or other activities. Our mission is to foster a learning environment that will nurture a girl’s holistic development for impacting her home and her community. Through the development of S.I.S.T.E.R.H.O.O.D. (Spiritual Integrity and Self-worth through Teamwork Education Resources Humility Observation Organization and Determination), girls participate in a variety of activities that address issues such as bullying, self-respect, self-defense, personal hygiene, etiquette, family values, critical thinking, money management, community involvement and so much more.

Current projects
In addition to Chapter meetings, participants will address four (4) key community areas. January to March: Children (annual prom support) April to June: Visually Impaired, Hard of Hearing, and Elderly July to September: Cancer October to December: Homeless (annual blankets drive)
