About
The mission of the Richard & Thelma Nesbitt Foundation Inc. is to assist, educate and train young people in the low country on real life experiences. To provide them with some of the tools necessary to better themselves. Introduce them to job training skills, college preparation skills, scholarship application assistance and how to give back to their community. The foundation also aims to offer financial assistance through our two scholarship funds to help them with their future endeavors. All of these actions will provide them with the foundation for success and empower them to become future leaders.

Current projects
For the current 2016-2017 school year, we are focusing on assisting a local school in Charleston county. We have adopted a first grade class at Minnie Hughes Elementary School and are in the process of collecting school supplies for the entire school to use. We will also be assisting as needed with various educational activities throughout the school year such as read-a-thons.
