About
Dedicated to caring for and rehabilitating neglected, abandoned, malnourished, or otherwise abused horses, Orphan Acres has been working to educate the public in equine rescue since 1975. With the generous help of its donors and volunteers, the organization has been able to continue providing a safe haven for these animals for over 40 years. Orphan Acres also works with special needs children, veterans, local schools, and many other groups to provide education and understanding about horses at the rescue and horses in general.
