Serving as an advocate for the Tennessee Walking Horse, the National Walking Horse Association advocates against abusive and inhumane treatment against these animals by increasing public awareness programs to exhibit, judge, and showcase the horses. By encouraging these activities, they protect the welfare of the animal and improve the lives of those who work with and compete within the association.
