About
Michael’s Caterpillar Inc. was incorporated in May, 2013, months after Michael died of a drug overdose. We offer an after school Art Drop-in Program for adolescent youth 11-14 years old. Through this program youth take part of local art walks to display and sell their work. It is the long-term goal to develop a housed location as a place for youth to congregate under adult supervision, after school or on weekends. This place will be drug free, with a focus on helping young people to continue to be drug free, using artistic expression as an alternative to substance use.

Current projects
Michael’s Caterpillar Drop-In Art is a non-profit after school art program in Seattle that provides middle and high school-aged youth with a safe place to tune in to and/or transform their creativity. We provide free snacks and supplies. It meets on Thursday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:30.
