The Silver Shadow was formed in the United States to support the work of HandsOn México DF, a volunteer center in Mexico City. We inspire, equip and mobilize volunteers to take action that changes their community and the world. We're part of the renowned Atlanta-based HandsOn Network, which has some 250 volunteer centers across the globe. Our model is personal, meaningful, and fun experiences for a new wave of volunteers - people who want to give back but don't know how or don't think that they have the time. We create flexible, unforgettable volunteering activities benefiting a variety of philanthropic, not-for-profit organizations in the word's third-largest city. We help orphans, schools for the lowest-income families, environmental education projects, senior citizens, people with physical and/or mental challenges (including Special Olympics athletes), and others.
