About
Dreamchaser was founded in 2002, in New River, AZ by Susan and Jamie Thompson. It's mission is to save horses from slaughter, especially Premarin mares and foals used by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, and horses from feedlots, abuse and abandonment. We recently traveled to South Dakota to save six mustang foals from a failed rescue with over 800 horses. We have saved, rehabilitated and found qualified homes for over 200 horses.
