About
O projeto Lisboa Limpa aborda uma questão muito presente na nossa sociedade: o desperdício. The Lisboa Limpa project addresses a very present issue in our society: waste. In May 2018, we implemented a reusable cup deposit system for cafes and restaurants, with the aim of reducing the waste of disposable cups, which produces increasing amounts of waste and has been consuming resources unnecessarily for decades. We want to raise environmental awareness and keep neighborhoods clean by reducing public resources and spending. It is important to change the habits of waste and encourage civic participation in our neighborhoods. We also promote environmental awareness activities for children and young people in Lisbon who are the main actors of our future and a model for the adults around them.
