Centrestage productions Youth Theatre is a voluntary organisation whose main aim is to provide theatre experience in all its aspects for young people in the local area. The projects we undertake put something back into the community, be it character development of the individuals taking part, or providing good entertainment for our audiences. We run 3 weekly session groups ranging from children as young as 7 years old up to young adults of 21 years of age. These groups will look into techniques and theatre practise that could be used later in their lives or future careers, such as budgeting, confidence building, a look into lighting and sound as well as production value and much much more. Centrestage Productions Youth Theatre is entirely dependent on the fund-raising activities of its organising team greatly supplemented by donations from businesses and benefactors. We believe that Centrestage Productions youth Theatre have a lot to offer young people who take the challenge of taking part in something as demanding as a well presented and outstanding production that we as a company can put on 7 times a year minimum.
