This is an independent art gallery which functions thanks to public and private donations, admissions, gift shop, and legacies etc. The aim of the Compton Verney art gallery is to spread its passion for art among the public and to make sure their art is appreciated as much as possible. The Compton Verney House Trust makes sure that monies are raised in order to maintain the gallery and the grounds themselves.
