This fantastic organisation aims to assist the 3.7 million children in the United Kingdom who are suffering from poverty. They do this by supporting families who may have huge debts and also runaway children who could potentially be sexually exploited. The Children's Society also takes part in policy making and lobbying to change the problems children are faced with. As well as direct interventions the society carries out research on child poverty and they work in partnership with local authorities and schools when possible. If you care about protecting children from poverty then support the Children's Society, they can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children with your help.
