About
The British Film Institute was established in 1933 and it is now a charity run by Royal Charter. It's focus is to support film production, distribution, and exhibition through it's venues, publishing, and festivals. Their latest strategic plan is called 'Film Forever' and this five-year plan (2012-2017) aims to support all genres of films made in the UK. The plan is based around three crucial aims; education and audiences, support for the industry and unlocking film heritage. If you love quality British films then raise some much-needed funds so you can enjoy some amazing acting, scripts, and scenery.
