The Senase Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that operates in Ghana, Africa. For the past 5 years, we have been collaborating with the rural farming village of Akatim, Ghana in order to help bridge gaps between the Government and people, and eradicate poverty through community development. Our featured project has been the Akatim Village School in which we have funded a 7 classroom primary school and while partnering with the local Government, have begun work on a Junior High School. There are also plans to bring healthcare to the area as well. We collaborate directly with the people that these projects affect in order to ensure a respectful and mindful implementation. We enable people to help themselves through various means. There are currently 100 students at the Akatim Village school and the number keeps rising. We are currently working on a partnership with Ghana Health Services to continue to bring healthcare to the neighboring village of Senase as well as constructing sanitary toilets at the Akatim Village School and providing new teaching methods to increase the quality of education.
