Reaching Our Community Youth and Adult Daycare is a non-profit 501(c) (3) operation that was created to promote the health of seniors, the disabled and the health of their caregivers. If you have an aging parent or loved one who is living with unique challenges in need of warmhearted care while You go to work, run errands or take a break. Reaching Our Community Adult Day Care invites you to discover compassionate services and memory care provided by trained professional at our facility. Some of our benefits and services at Reaching Our Community Youth and Adult Daycare includes Your loved one will be allowed to stay in his or her community while you, the caregiver, go to work; You will get your much needed breaks from caregiver tasks; We provides your loved one the needed social interaction; Our activities offer greater structure to his or her daily activities; Adult day care facilities can provide a variety of services and activities too, including: Assistance with eating, taking medicines, toileting, and/or walking; Counseling; educational programs or mental stimulation; exercise programs; health monitoring (e.g., blood pressure, food or liquid intake) Preparation of meals and snacks; social activities; Therapy (occupational, physical, speech, etc.) Transportation Services; Pickup and Escort to Medical and Dental Appointments; Running Errands (Grocery Store, Pharmacy; Airport Service. We service the greater hind’s county area.

Be a part of the breakthrough and make someone’s dream come true Every day more and more American families juggle the demands of work with their family commitments. Unfortunately, in family after family, it is the woman who bears the major burden of both responsibilities. Recently, a mother of two children came to the facility describing how she was balancing her job with caring for her children and her mother with Dementia. "It’s like a house of cards. Right now it is standing, but I feel like the slightest breath of wind or the smallest breeze could knock down a wall, a room, or the whole structure." In one out of 15 families, a woman is the only adult parent in the home. In one out of 5 single-parent families, mothers with toddlers or school-age children also work outside the home. Here at the Reaching Our Community Youth and Adult Daycare Center, we help them in very real ways. Up until now, we have been able to respond to these requests, but now we are reaching the limits of our financial budget. That is why I am writing to you--we need your help. I believe you are the type of person who would be willing to share the blessings of your own success with this very worthwhile community project. We are asking for donations of $5.00, $10.00, $25.00 (or more if you are able), to support our efforts to help working mothers and their children A lot of seniors and disable persons who need our help would be grateful if you could send us your tax-deductible donation today.
