El Movimiento was formed by two dance instructors that have a passion to serve our community through the art dance, with a particular emphasis on Neo-Latin style social partner dancing because of the interaction in partner work and challenges presented in cooperating as a single unit for a common goal. El Movimiento is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that seeks to share and implement character building principles through programs developed around the artistic gifts and talents of dance, to serve the community at large (with a special emphasis on the youth) by molding and shaping our students to be integral role models and outstanding citizens.

Laufende Projekte
We are excited to announce that El Movimiento: Latin Beginnings Ministries will be opening our very own Youth Center Dance Studio! We have recently formed a nonprofit outreach called El Movimiento: Latin Beginnings Ministries and will be engaged with the community by implementing the cultures of Latin, and Hip-hip dance programs for the purpose of character, confidence building. We are hosting this event at Picasso's Coffee House to raise funds to assist with renovating the venue in order to present this scene with a quality place to share, grow and build. Please join us June 27, 2017 for a night full of awesome dance fusion from Swing, Hip-hop and of course Latin! We will have two live DJ's Freedom Sal Ochoa and @Lester 'Burn Em' Barrientos to bring the heat in the beats, along with some special exhibition performances, raffles and much more! We look forward to seeing everyone. Stay tuned for more details to come.
