We enhance care and support The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We are here to help. •We have local chapters across the nation, providing services within each community. Find a chapter near you. Our professionally staffed 24/7 Helpline (1.800.272.3900) offers information and advice to more than 300,000 callers each year and provides translation services in more than 200 languages. We host face-to-face support groups and educational sessions in communities nationwide. We connect people across the globe through our online message boards, ALZConnected®. •We provide caregivers and families with comprehensive online resources and information through our Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Center, which features sections on early-stage, middle-stage and late-stage caregiving. •We help people find clinical studies through our free, easy-to-use matching service Alzheimer’s Association TrialMatch®. TrialMatch connects individuals with Alzheimer's, caregivers, healthy volunteers and physicians with current studies.

The Walk To End Alzheimer's 2016. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions! When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation in the event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community. The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness. Take the first step by finding a Walk near you. Once you register, you will have access to a wide range of tools and support through your customized Participant Center. Join us and be inspired by all the footsteps that fall into place behind yours. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s! How to Participate in 3 Easy Steps: 1.Find a Walk in your community. 2.Register as a team captain, team member or individual. 3.Start fundraising and raising awareness.
