AIGR (Associazione Italiana Genitori di Bambini affetti da Retinoblastoma) nasce nel 1997 da un gruppo di genitori con bambini affetti dal retinoblastoma, un raro e grave tumore dell’occhio che colpisce 1 bambino su 18.000. Insieme ai medici del Policlinico di Siena, l’associazione si occupa di: - assistenza e cura ai malati e alle loro famiglie - promozione della ricerca scientifica; - informazione sulla patologia - miglioramento dei rapporti tra medici e famiglie - sensibilizzazione dell’opinione pubblica. About us: The AIGR (Italian Association of Parents of Children Affected by Retinoblastoma) was founded in 1997. Retinoblastoma is a rare and serious eye cancer that affects 1 in 18.000 children. Together with the medics at Siena Hospital our aim is to: - offer support & information to children and their families - promote scientific research - share information about the disease - improve doctor/patient relationships - raise awareness

Laufende Projekte

Nostro obiettivo è di fondare Casa AIGR, un alloggio messo a disposizione dei genitori dei piccoli pazienti durante la loro degenza all’Ospedale Le Scotte di Siena. Our goal is to create Casa AIGR; free accommodation in Siena for families to use while their children are receiving treatment at Siena Hospital.
