Young People and Children First (YPACF) is a small charity that provides homes for 12 young people aged 16-25 who have left the care system and who may otherwise be homeless. Nationally, 26% of all care leavers experience homelessness and YPACF is committed to the belief that every child and young person deserves a safe and nice place to live until they are ready for independence. Over the past 12 years, the charity has provided a home to 55 care leavers and young homeless. As well as safe and comfortable homes, the charity provides consistent emotional and practical support, in a manner that goes above and beyond any other service. A platform of hope and stability from which care leavers can move on to successful independent living. YPACF currently has three homes and has ambitious plans to grow and help more vulnerable young people. The charity relies on the generous support of supporters, both individuals and corporate.
