War on Want is a charitable organisation which has a mission of a worldwide movement for global justice. They aim to combat the basic causes of poverty and human rights abuses. At the moment, the organisation works in two Sub-Saharan countries - Malawi and Uganda. Their projects impacted upon the lives of more than 20,000 people between 2013-2014 who would have otherwise not had access to outside help due to their geographical location. War on Want recognises the importance of working closely with local communities and they provide financial and organisational support as well as carrying out capacity building projects.
