Wandsworth Radio has been operating online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since January 2015. We broadcast a huge variety of programmes celebrating Wandsworth and its diverse population. Our hundreds of volunteers from all ages and backgrounds have come together to make programmes completely dedicated to Wandsworth. We aim to boost civic pride by being honest, professional, accessible and friendly. We have a strong emphasis on local news and information as initial research suggested people required this from a community radio station for Wandsworth. We encourage debate, engagement in local affairs and the leading of a healthy, fulfilling and active life.

Laufende Projekte
Our home for the last two and a half years is being knocked down and turned into luxury flats! We have managed to find a new space and are currently building our new studios. We need funding to be able to build and create the new studios and buy some new studio equipment which will really help our hundreds of volunteers. It will help to make it easier for volunteers to broadcast their own programmes and easier to train new volunteers in better, easier , more modern and up to date surroundings and equipment.
