The Refugee Council works with refugees and those who seek asylum in the UK. They deliver a lot of support and advice to people who are hoping to reside in the UK and the organisation has been in operation for more than 60 years so they have a great knowledge of how difficult it is for people to come from war-torn regions where they have experienced some horrific incidents. The work that the Refugee Council carries is of such a high quality that they are qualified by the Office of the Immigration Services Commission to deliver advice and support. Fundamentally, it is the aim of the Refugee Council to empower refugees and asylum seekers to build sustainable livelihoods for themselves.
